Four Years of Growing Together
This October marks four years since Plant Galaxy first opened its doors in Riverside. In that time, we have seen our neighborhood and neighbors grow, change, and rise to new heights, and we have been honored to grow alongside it all. From day one, Plant Galaxy has sought to be more than a dispensary. We have been a meeting place, a familiar face, and a part of the daily rhythm of this city we love. Riverside has shaped who we are as much as we have shaped our space here. Over the years, the Riverside community and patrons of Plant Galaxy have become family, and we want to take this moment to reflect on some of the ways we have shown up for each other. Because honestly, this story is not just about us here at Plant Galaxy. It is about all of us, here in Riverside.
When Neighbors Need Neighbors
Some of our most meaningful moments have happened outside the shop. When a longtime customer’s family faced loss, we helped host a car wash fundraiser right in our lot. Supplies, signage, and support came together not because it was expected, but because it was needed, and because that is just what family does. Being part of the Plant Galaxy Riverside community means sharing in every chapter: joy, struggle, celebration, and memory. From sending flowers to contributing to memorials for customers who have become family, we try to honor the lives that have touched ours.
Showing Up Where It Counts
Over the years, Plant Galaxy has found itself in places you might not expect a dispensary to be. We have stepped onto golf courses to raise funds for local nonprofits and youth mentorship programs. We have handed out turkeys at Thanksgiving with no questions asked, making sure families across the Inland Empire could enjoy a holiday meal together. And every December, our holiday toy drive fills boxes with gifts for children battling cancer. Customers walk in with toys in hand, staff carefully organize them, and together we make sure they find their way to the kids who need them most. It is a tradition that turns the season into something brighter for everyone involved.
Celebrating Joy in Everyday Ways
Not every moment has to be heavy. Sometimes community means music and laughter and tacos handed out on the street. Some of our favorite days have been when the taco truck pulls up outside PG, staff grabs the tongs, and we pass out free tacos to anyone nearby. No purchase required, no strings attached – just good food, good vibes, and good people in the middle of Riverside. The same spirit shows up in smaller ways, too. Our team often heads out for trash cleanups in branded gear, walking Riverside streets with pride and care. It is not glamorous, but it matters, and it reminds us that community is built in both big and small gestures.

Four years in Riverside has meant more than business. It has been a relationship built on love, respect, and shared experiences. We are proud to be part of this city, and we are proud of the people who walk through our doors every day. Plant Galaxy is what it is because of you.
As we step into our fifth year, we are excited to keep growing with Riverside. To keep hosting events, giving back, and creating moments that remind us why community matters most. Thank you for letting us plant our roots here. Thank you for being family.
